2nd/3rd Grade Contrasting Flower Still Lifes
Mrs. Hendrick's 2nd graders and Mrs. Wydick's 2nd/3rd split are learning about contrast and measurement.
If you glue the pieces just right, they start to form opposing sides.
Then students start on their flower still life using oil pastels and markers.
Voila! You have a creative and interesting contrasting still life! Nice job artists!
1st Grade Mixed Media Tigers
Ahh! Watch out! We are heading to the jungle this week and stubbled upon all of these tigers! Students have started the project with construction paper, chalk and oil pastels.
Next week we will add foliage and cover the white space. I can't wait! Great start St. A 1st graders!
4th and 5th Grade Mathematic Color Wheel and Complimentary Colors
Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Stoneburner's classes started with integrating math and art today. They caught on fast!
Then, students started to label their color wheel. Next week we will add the compliments and finish up!
