Yes, this is the best math lesson ever! Our St. A 5th graders are studying the artist Frank Stella. In his artwork, you will find a great use of line and geometric shapes. We learned the difference between geometric shapes and organic shapes. Then we brainstormed as many geometric shapes that we could think of...and draw. One student knew an icosahedron, 20 sides. WOW! I learned something new! Here is the first day of work...
